Carbureted application - MAP ok?

Post by fordfanboi »

Does the MAP look ok on my log? I thought MAP would move closer to ambient outside pressure ( 85ish ) when the pedal is stabbed while idling in neutral.

FYI - I'm only connected to RPM, MAP, and AFR.

Thanks!

Fordfanboi,

The MAP looks reasonable to me. Generally reving in neutral doesn't provide enough load to move the MAP all the way to ambient pressure (actually stabbing the throttle while driving in gear should though).

Lance.
