I would try to stay away from the cheap hei modules maybe try a accel or msd module from jegs or summit autozone somtimes cary msd products they give a higher more stable voltage to the ms than the cheaper ones do my cheap one only put out like 1.3 volts to the ms and had real bad voltage spikes at anything under 2000 rpm and was real hard to start.

Im not sure on the msd butt the accel part (there are two part # one is a hi-po thats good to 9k rpms)
standerd module # is 110-35361 $39.99
hi-po module # is 110-35367 $65.99
Either one of these should work great.

so i dont need the 1k for nothing from the distributor vr sensor + to W - to G the 470 1/2 watt resistor in B and C. from C to pin 24 of the squirt and B to a 12 volts source. and from pin 30 to the white wire of the MSD and i dont need the 1k in pin 30 either.
