How to use non-GM sensors?

Post by sindre »

I have MS-II V3.0 code2.34

I'm going to use VW CLT and Volvo IAT. So I have started with the coolant.

Is It just to find ohm in 3 tempratures and push it into Table Generator in megatune?

What should I set in Bias Resistor Value(ohm)?

Yes.

The default resistor is 2490 Ohms, so unless you (or someone else) changed it, that's what you use.

Just a bit more on Lances comment about bias resistors

Isn't there a note somewhere that says the bias resistor is equal to the sensor temp at 27 deg C ?????

Max,

You can do that instead of changing the temp tables, but it so easy to change the tables with MS-II that I don't think any one bothers with changing the bias resistors.
