Cheap display for LC1

Post by Tommy »

A cheap display for the LC1, can be had by getting a volt meter from E-bay.

Image

By using a 60K resistor in R3 posistion the meter displays 0000-1999 with selectable desimalpoint for 0-5volt input.

Program the LC1 to give 0-5 volt output for 0-19.99AFR, or 0-5V for 0-1.999 lambda, and select the apropriate desimal point.

aparently they update 2-3 times a second, which should be ok.

there are several different models on ebay right now, i'm looking at this 3 digit one (4 digit is 1 digit too much, pointless to waste dashboard real-estate), but it doesnt seem configurable, I'd have to build some circuit (resistor network) to adapt 0-5v from lc1 to 0-20mv that that should be cool. only PITA is that it goes only on 5V...
