same here, seems happy.
I like vista in general, seems nice and has interesting features, but I really don't like how it's just so resource hungry. Really; 512 mb ram minimum, 1gb minimum suggested, 2 gb for medium to heavy use? that's a little out of the park for most daily systems over a year old. my 2ghz system with 768 mb ram chokes along ever so slowly with vista, and my work compy (4200+ 64bit with 1gb ram) still chokes up when I try anything intense.

my girlfriend wants it on her 3 month old laptop with 1gb ram, 1.2 ghz processor and there is just no way it will hold up. that's bogus if you ask me.

my tuning laptop has a whopping 96mb ram, and a 396 mhz celeron, more stable than my girlfriends brand new laptop.

Hey Timbo! Cool to see you here! I like to run XP on my tuning laptops. Makes it easy for remote connection, and XP can run nicely on a 300Mhz laptop with only 192mb of ram. I usally run faster machines, but my night tuning machine (backlighted keyboard) has run XP without tweaking it for over a year.

Plus XP is easy to get keys for, be they valid or not. Obviously I can't recomend cracking MicroSoft codes... but I am sure if we did a pole of valid to invalid licenses here.... Shutting up now :P
