Can timing advance be used to eliminate and Fidle air bypass??

Timing advance can help (and MS-II/MicroSquirt have IAT based advance adjustments), but it is usually too limited to work for most people for full cold idle control. It *might* work if your warm-up advance was all messed up, then it could be optimized at low temps - but that's a bad solution!

Advance control of that nature is usually used more for idle speed stabilization.
