Accelleration tuning with a manual transmission
My project is getting more into the fine tuning stage now, and one of the things I'm playing with is accelleration enrichment. It looks to me like the defaults in the accelleration wizard are meant for an automatic transmission car (decelleration derichment is included, and there is no mapdot-based enrichment). My thinking is that with a manual transmission, accelleration enrichment needs to be triggerable by both clutch changes (mapdot?) and throttle changes (tpsdot).
Anyone have some guidelines, suggestions, rules of thumb, etc for initial accell enrichment tuning on a manual transmisson? (In my case, this is a five speed motorcycle - current msq attached).
By the way, anyone have any experience using X-Tau in conjunction with, or instead of, accelleration enrichment on a manual tranny?
Thanks,
Paul
