Making wiring easier

Post by octanes »

Hi!

After I installed a microsquirt/megasquirt on the third engine, I finally think I can give some suggestions to make wiring easier in future hardware versions:

There are still 2 Pins (PIN5, PIN18) left on the Superseal and this is how I would use them:

PIN5: MAP 5V
PIN18: Sensor Ground 2

The reason is that I have to split the 5V and the Sensor ground everytime I connect an engine because at least TPS and MAP definitly need a 5V connection and ground (Coolant also needs ground - but ok, we have no more Pins left). And even with rather professional crimping equipment it is still a pain to split wires into do and just looks ugly.

Maybe this can be done in future versions.

Thanks,
Johannes
