water temp correction

Post by supertuner »

I understand that you can cheat and use warmup enrich as a correction, but is it ok to have warmup on all the time to contol the fuel? I don't understand why there is no water temp correction, like iat correction. Most efi controlers have temp correction and overheat shutdown besides warmup enrichment. I would really like to see a megasquirt with that option. I would like warmup to do it's job and then shutoff and have temp correction.

How would the water temp correction differ from warmup correction?

I thought I read somewhere that some things would not work while warmup is on, maybe it was autotune or something. So is it ok to have wue on all the time? Thanks.
