vrin1(+) is DME pin 27 and vrin2(+) is DME 26.

I connected both vrin1(-) and vrin2(-) (DME pins 8,25) to the Microsquirt pin 33.

That's pin 2 on the VR sensor; I'll check the waveform tomorrow to determine the correct edge. I think that's more important than stim testing

Sorry, finally got time to sit down and scope pin 2 of Reference Sensor on my test wheel

To me it looks like rising edge is correct, assuming:

1) Pin 2 of VR sensor is connect to VR +

2) Microsquirt VR does not invert (I'm 99% sure of this)

I said MicroSquirt, but of course I meant Sequencer.

Thanks for taking time to record the waveform.

Strange thing is the car runs much more stable with Falling Edge and I am using a Microsquirt. I assume Microsquirt VR inversion would be same as Sequencer.

I have probably about 3 hours of driving time with the Falling Edge setting now and I have not yet experienced a resynch. Could this because it changed the phasing of the crank speed sensor w.r.t. the reference sensor?

I'll test the Sequencer input and see what it does.

Rob
Can you verify which pin of your sensors are connected to VR+ inputs?

Thanks!

Sorry I've been away visiting family for the holiday.

I will check into this as soon as I have a chance. I'll do a point to point check from the Microsquirt AMPseal connector to the 3-pin VR sensor connectors.

Thanks Rob,
Once you know, I check with VR sensor at that polarity
