Your MSQ is set up for using a MAF. With no MAF hooked up, I'm surprised it is running at all.

In your opinion if it starts without MAF connected would there then be no control over idle due to this, do i need the idle valve or MAP sensor, its running standard efi, would it be possible to check out my datalog and maybe give your opinion. Early days still but pleased it atleast started was starting to lose faith !
Read a thread that suggests that warm up enrichments should all be set to 100% which would help to lower idle, but i need to sort the airflow meter out first i am guessing, was working ok but seems to have stopped since i loaded this msq, is there something in the msq that is stopping it working?

Well, you have it set up for a MAF; you might want to get it running on speed density first. Most of the experience out there is with speed density. Wiring up the idle air control valve is what you should use to control idle speed. Use the right tool for the job, and use common sense when evaluating claims that aren't in the official documentation. For example, the purpose of warm up enrichment is to add fuel while the engine is warming up, since the fuel doesn't vaporize or burn as well when the motor is cold. If you turned it to 100% at every temperature, you would lose this feature and not have enough fuel when the engine is cold. You'd stall when you tried to idle with the engine cold. Likewise, if you are using a MAF to control fueling and have no MAF connected, your fueling will be, well, out of control.

Hi, been trying to get car to idle still, still have a misfire and car is still overfuelling, could you have a look at the 2 msq's attached, the first is an msq sent to me by the supplier of my microsquirt, the other is the default msq, the AFR tables are very different, the one sent to me by my supplier being very low numbers , does this seem ok to use? in your experience is it a valid table that would help towards solving some of my fuelling issues or should i use the default VE and AFR tables?

First, I'd fix the overfueling by decreasing your VE table.

And, yes, something's gone horribly wrong with the AFR table in that MSQ you posted.
