crank sensor three wire

we are running a micro squirt on a Polaris razor . This motor is a even fire twin < the crank sensor is a three wire . The Polaris manual calls it a magnetic type sensor , which usually only has 2 wires. When running on the factory ecm the 2 out side wires have a spike type wave form that varies with rpm . The center wire is ground or shield i think . key on gives 2.5 volts on both outside wires when checking neg to either pin. when checking voltage between bat pos and the outer wires
it shows 9.4 volts . this is unlike any crank sensor i am familiarly with. when checking crank sensor with ohm meter it has 480 ohms on outside terms, and no continuity to the center . this is our last hurdle to get this thin running , and helpfull input would be great.
