Recently while tuning, I have had to push up the KPIA and VE numbers. I had added another MAP sensor and configured it for BARO, I also found that I had improperly grouped two injectors as well, which was causing a lean tuning issue around the transition from 4-5k rpm, the autotune tried to over compensate by dumping fuel in at this point, the transition issue resolved when I grouped the FI banks properly. Now, I got back on the dyno and started tuning again, but this time it was much easier to achieve targets and I even used the onboard autotune in Tunerstudio to achieve target AFR's. However, I also noticed that even though the intake temp is releatively the same as last time, as is the weather, The VE went from approx 140% to 170% at the torque range (but increased overall about 15%-20% across the board), can anyone tell me why this change has occured? BTW, I also decided to use dual tables instead of the single table, the megamanual stated that this will adjust to target AFR's by adj the FI banks, but the tables don't really look anything like each other. I find it hard to believe that each bank could be so different, so what does the VE2 table actually represent? Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, the system is tuning wonderfully and is very responsive, I'm impressed, but I also have a need to understand why the results are so different, and how the VE2 table is influencing this change. Thank you, Paul
