MicroSquirt ACCESS hardware board

Post by Bruce Bowling »

I have generated a "breakout" board for MicroSquirt that will be available for purchase along with MicroSquirt. Information on the MicroSquirt ACCESS board is here:

http://www.microsquirt.info/access.htm

This board breaks out all of the uS signals to terminal blocks, has a DB-9 and MAP sensor, and DIP switch configuration. Also blinky lights to indicate output status. Form factor is 3 x 5 inch, the same as the MS relay board, and fits the same enclosure.

Bruce,

I like this board. Pretty nifty. Kind of a suprise actually. You must be very busy what with the other board designs coming together at the same time....

I don't know if the design is frozen yet, but I was thinking that a baro sensor would make a functional addition.

The SOP type MPX4250 doesn't take up much space and you could add the output to the dip switch open contact just incase they want to use the Spare ADC input for something else.

I posted a related question as a new topic - maybe should have posted here.

So if I understand correctly, the MicroSquirt Access Board will be sold separately from the Microsquirt and will not have any relays or fuses?

Anyone selling the Access board yet?

Post by MOLECULAR BOB »

Just wondering if the Access Board is in production yet?

It might be a better option for me than the relay board, so was wondering if any of the re-sellers have stock?

I've asked DIYautotune and they don't have it yet, but will let me know when it will be released.

MicroSquirt ACCESS hardware board, available?

Post by EWflyer »

Just wondering if this Microsquirt Access Board ever became available? If it is available, where can I get it?

Or was it a good idea that never got to production?

It certainly looks useful. I'm going to be doing a Motorcycle Microsquirt conversion in November and this access board looks interesting to me.

Thanks.

Hmm, it's 2011 and still not in stock. Guessing it was never actually produced?

That was my mistake, I thought you meant the access board with the screw terminals on top...sorry.
