GM TBI and microsquirt

Post by jdboggs »

I'm planning on using a GM mid 90's 8 cyl throttle body injected engine.

Question: does the microsquirt have enough outputs to support this engine?

Question: is there an application specific document for this project?

thanks.

You'll need injector resistors to handle the low impedance injectors (the drivers will overheat and shut down otherwise; I've seen this happen before with a TBI and MicroSquirt), and you don't have any stepper IAC output. Other than that it can be, and has been, done.
