Micra CGA3 Setup Question.

Post by adhmotorsportmicro »

Afternoon all (or morning wherever you are in the world)

I am new to the forum so excuse any typical newbie questions etc.

I have a 4 cylinder Microsquirt package (purchased from Trigger Wheels last year) for my rally car.
Set up is:
4 Cylinder, distributor, bike throttle bodies (with TPS).
Originally got the Microsquirt kit as I needed adjustable mapping with new cams, ITBs and Stainless exhaust as well as some head porting.

I am hoping to get away with not using the trigger wheel supplied as a) it doesn't fit the engine without time consuming mods b) I read somewhere that as long as I have a cam sensor all should be good?

Is this correct or do I need to run the trigger wheel? Not a problem if not - just a pain for me that's all as I have NO IDEA where I am going to fit it.

Photo of the engine attached. Everything is timed up if anyone needs that info too.

And thank you in advance :D

What pattern do you have on the cam sensor?
