Re: Motorcycle, Snow-Mobile & Car Throttle Specs and Pics
I'm working on a fuel injection upgrade for my Kawasaki EX-250R (2005 year-model). It's such a small motor, 250cc twin which means only 125cc per cylinder, that there isn't a big selection of throttle bodies small enough to have good off-idle airflow characteristics and injectors of small enough cc/min to give a tuneable idle pulse-width.
I figured it would be easiest to get a throttle body and injectors from the most similar bike out there, which is the new (2008 - 2009) European model of my EX-250R. I spent some time on the European version of Ebay and came up with one, so I'm moving forward with the project.
Here's a writeup on the throttle body:
Make/Model: Kawasaki EX-250R (“H8F†European fuel injected model)
Year: From 2008 through current year-model
Number of Tb: 2
Inside Diameter: 28mm (intake side), 36mm (filter side)
Center-Center (left to right from behind): 67mm
Overall Length: 85mm
Outside Diameter (intake): 41mm
Outside Diameter (filter): 43mm
Separate casting: No, set of two, cast together, brand marks on casting say “KEIHIN†and “TO26 AWA9â€
Injector Make/Model: Hard to say…. I’ve included pictures so you can see them up close. The electrical connection plug of each injector is marked “LICENSE BOSCH.†The sides of the injectors are etched with the numbers “28807ZF†on one side and “EAT288†on the other. Also, on each injector where the electrical plug portion meets the actual injector body there’s a small logo that looks like an injector spray-pattern and “B3†next to it. So it seems to me they are a Bosch design built in Japan by Keihin or some other third-party parts provider. Just a guess, though.
Flow Rate (45psi/100%): I’m estimating they are about 120 to 130cc/min, High Impedance 13Ω (my multimeter says 12.2 when I test them).
Fuel Rail: Made of black plastic (yeah, I was surprised too), Inside diameter 6mm, and it is marked “>PA 66 G 33<â€
Additional Info: Secondary throttles controlled by ECU. The engine on the EX-250R is a 249cc, parallel twin, rated at 32.2 horsepower (the European brochure says 24 kW or 33 PS at 11,000 RPM). If you’re looking for one of these, I’d suggest European Ebay. That’s how I got mine.

Here is a link to Factory Pro site, a very well known manufacter of jet kits, dynamometers and lots of special parts for race bikes teams.
Black Keihin inyectors that came with 00-03 GSX-R 750/600 are 378ml/min.
Same as Hayabusa 1st gen.
Part number 15710-24f00
Those throttle bodies with inyectors are the ones I used for my 95 GSX-R 750W EFI conversion.
Also lots of info on others manufacturers inyectors.
If someone has made a flow test of this ones, results are welcome ( and the much more important info, dead time! )
