Post by underutilized »

uS V3.83 firmware
Again the supplied manuals give NO HELP for the newer version of Firmware very disappointing.
According to the manual
Within Tuner STudio open the Startup/Idle -> Idle Control page. IT DOES NOT EXIST!
Under Fuel Setup > Idle Control
Settings are different and incomplete "huh"

o here is the big rub
Instructions
Prerequisite > "firmware 3.3.x or later"
So evidently the shipping pre installed version 3.83 must be not LATER
So with the firmware downgrade / cross grade to different product basis the options for changing IO PINS are available.
However this version of firmware is requiring me to study the schematics for the MEGASQUIRT V2 double check the pinouts on the Microsquirt V3 and set the output pins for Map,IAT,O2 and all other inputs and outputs to determine correct wiring to weather tight connector.

There is a part to products that are absolutely necessary DOCUMENTATION

I would be willing to clean up the Microsquirt documentation in trade for a Microsquirt Module for my truck.
As it currently exists it is not a commercial product it is a alpha state kit.
