MegaSquirt Engine Codes, Can someone point me to a list

Post by Mad Professor »

Hi All.

Is there a list of what all the MegaSquirt Engine Codes mean?

If there is I must be blind as I can not find it.

If there is, can someone please point me the right way.

Thanks.

Mad Professor,

They are listed here:

http://www.megasquirt.info/v22manual/mtune.htm#data

The codes may seem weird at first, but they are actually individual bits set in an 6 bit field, so you get combinations that add up.

Binary Decimal Meaning
00000X 1 Running
0000X0 2 Cranking
000X00 4 Start-Up enrich
00X000 8 Warm-Up enrich
0X0000 16 TPS accel enrich
X00000 32 TPS decel enlean

So, for example, 25 = 011001 = 16+8+1, or TPS accel enrich + Warm-up enrich + Running.

0 = Not Running.
1 = Running.
3 = 2 + 1, Cranking + Running.
9 = 8 + 1, Warm-Up enrich + Running.
16 = TPS accel enrich.
17 = 16 + 1, TPS accel enrich + Running.
19 = 16 + 2 + 1, TPS accel enrich + Cranking + Running.
25 = 16 + 8 + 1, TPS accel enrich + Warm-up enrich + Running.
