are these the kind that fold both sides over sort of like an 'M' ? that's what these crimpers do, and they slip right into the ampseal plug, and are tight enough crimp that you will pull the sleeve back on the wire before the joint breaks. i solder also just for a proper zero resistance thing. i dunno... do i need to?

Probably doesn't hurt but if it's really tight, it should be fine just crimped
