Calculated should be fine as long as you have a first column of your table that's a ways below idle. Use the square that the cursor is sitting in when not running, and the one below it, to set cranking advance.

Cool..
I will phase the wheel such that I have my tach tooth 10-12 degrees BTDC and use the offset to try either calculated or trigger rise starting and see what works best.

And now I also see where having a wheel with lots o teeth gives you a big advantage in starting with respect to being able to just change the tach tooth and then adjust with offset if doing trigger rise. I couldn't do more than 30 or the gaps and teeth weren't similar size/the top of the tooth was smaller than the width of the sensor tip.
