Re: Microsquirt v3 timing/fuel issues.
Installed 24-1 cam wheel, if I enable sequential in project properties, I cannot change CPU type to microsquirt.
Without sequential enabled, I can see my inj pulse offset on the cas signal on the scope (I'm starting to get the hang of it.) when I change injector timing angle.
However, I cannot get the egt under 1300*f.
So, I set it back to the default, which is about the best it gets, It gets upwards of 1600*f with other angles (280 for instance).
Having a spare set of cams around is nice. So I installed them. They are Brian Crower 280* turbo cams. They reduced my egt to 1100*f, but my idle suffered drastically (from 53kpa now at 85kpa).
So that is not the answer. I just read about injector timing delay, which seems to be the same as injector timing angle (in effect, but in the ms2 manuals, not microsquirt v3).
I am running low on options, but I do have an MS1 cpu and v3 board here that I will try to run ms1/extra on in the next few days and see what kind of results I get there.
If anyone has any wild ideas, I am willing to do almost anything except give up.

I believe my problem is not with the ecu.
I have replaced cams, cam gears, triple checked mechanical timing, tested compression several times. I don't know what is left.

Re: Microsquirt v3 timing/fuel issues.
It had a leak on all 4 cylinders. It is amazing it pulled as much vacuum as it did.
Now I am running well under 1000* at idle.
The factory ecu ran about 750-800*, I am at about 850-900* now. It gets hotter with higher vacuum, but it is reasonable now and seems to like 45kpa for idle, it's the smoothest and coolest with a 13-14:1 afr.
I will post up my msq, a datalog, and maybe a video in the next couple of days.
The intake leak was identified with starting fluid.
