maintaing proper fuel with battery drops

Post by supertuner »

Here is my problem, I am not using a a charging system just a battery. When I first run my enginge it is fine, then after a few minutes I get a lean condition. Would this be becouse of voltage drop? I run between 11-14 volts. My fuel preassure is still right where I want it, but was wondering if my injectors are getting delayed when voltage drops, and if that would lean my motor to the point where it starvs for fuel? Any help greatly appreciated.

The injectors do increase their opening time as the voltage drops. Try increasing the battery voltage correction number and see if that improves performance.
