Double rpm

Post by Ulmenkott »

Hi forum,
Got my 650cc paralell twin i've been converting to injection finally started and somewhat running.
Now the problem.. MicroSquirt is reading double rpm, hence my VE and Spark advance is totally off.

I have no cambshaft sensor, only a 36-1 wheel on the crank and i guess that could be why it count the revs wrong.. or sumthing.
It is set to two cylinders and two injectors, simultaneous squirt once per cycle. (4-stroke)

Since i run wasted spark and it's a paralell twin i figured i wont be needing a camb sensor... but how do i trick the MegaSquirt to understand this so that the rpm read is the actual rpm?

regards
/Joakim

Sounds OK, please post your MSQ file so we can check your settings.
