have some problems with my VW Hall sensor on my engine. The engine is running nice until 5000rpm at this point it looses sync.
Current Configuration:
60-2 VW Hallsensor (5V)
Using VR1 +/- Input with Bruce "Hall offsetter circuit"
Hall Sensor wiring far away from any other wires
So here is what i already did:
In the past i connected the hall sensor to optoin +/- with a 5V Pullup (resistor between 500-1000Ohm) with this config. i lost sync. between 2000 and 4000rpm depends on the pullup resistor. I also measured the signal with an oszzi and the signal wasn´t really nice (2,8V signal with bad square wave signal, the beginning ot the teeth is a curve and the end is a sharp edge like it should be)
So i made a new wiring for the sensor which is far away from any other wiring. I also changed the sensor (both are new) --> no effect still synch lost at around 4000rpm
Then i connected the hall sensor to the VR1 +/- with Bruce "hall offsetter circuit" with small changes i used a 5V pullup with a 330Ohm resistor instead of the 12V an 4,7kOhm. And i used a 1N4004 instead of a 1N4001 because this wasn´t available. So now i got a really nice 4V square wave signal on the VR1 with a oszzi. Now i have synch lost at 5000rpm... My redline is at 7200rpm
sorry for my bad english but i´m from germany...
attached my current msq: and the latest log: Any ideas?
Thanks Steffen
EDIT:
Problem is solved! I removed C27 and C26 on the Board. And now it works great!!!
