Hi.
i have a yamaha snowmobile, im going from carbs to fuel injection.
im using the throttle body from a later model sled (straight fit)

my question is: can microsquirt control this IAC Valve?

If all four pins are connected to wires used by the FIdle valve, then no - that's a stepper motor, and the Microsquirt doesn't have the means to control it.

That said, I have a PWM to stepper controller on its way to a tester. This will allow the uS to control a 4-wire IACV using the FIdle PWM output.

Success! After a few delays and a quick mod to sort out an issue, my tester reports proper operation of the stepper idle valve driven from the PWM idle signal. I have fresh, revised boards enroute incorporating all (minor) changes discussed in the field testing, and complete units should be available in the next few weeks.

Note that while my tester was using the Extra code, my device does NOT require that code, and will work quite cheerfully with the standard B&G firmware.
