Android Tablet Version

Post by blake »

Hi
Thought it may be better to have the tuning software on a Android Tablet instead of a laptop, however I downloaded the programme for a Android and all it shows me is a Dashboard and says "demo version" but nothing else to operate fuel tables etc. I have not connected to the car as I am in the middle of an engine upgrade so I am unable to try it out at the moment, so the question I am asking, is the programme supposed to work the same as on a laptop?

Thanks in Advance

I assume you are speaking of Shadow Dash, that is only for display and data logging.
It can load and save msq files, but does not have a tuning ui.

I am actually guessing you are talking about MSDroid. Will it allow you to tune and datalog? Yes. Is it as powerful as TS? No, not really. It's great for small changes, but from what I have read, it's not really good to try to build a full tune with it. Also, try swiping from a side or look for a menu button, either hardware, or build into the app. You should have a bunch of setting come up. Just play with it, and you will figure it out eventually. Also, unless your tab has OTG support, you are going to have to use BT to tune.
