Microsquirt v2.2 help.

Post by Laner1986 »

I'm trying to get some help with a microsquirt v2.2 board, it was built by someone else so I can't be 100% about it but pin 27 (o2 input) is not wired to anywhere. Can I solder onto this and join directly to my wideband controller analogue output?

Thanks for any help.

Laner1986,

I apologize but I don't fully understand what you have written. Microsquirts are fully assembled from the factory, so how was yours "built by someone else". Do you mean it was installed in the vehicle by someone else, or do you have a MegaSquirt V2.2 board, or a microsquirt module? See: http://www.megamanual.com/MSFAQ.htm#versions or post a photo of the controller here.

The answer to your questions depends on exactly what hardware you have. If this is a microsquirt module, then yes, you can hook a 0-5V EGO signal directly to pin 27 of the 25x2 header if you aren't using the utility board.

Lance.
