Which diagram are you looking at? I don't see the 1k resistors you are talking about.

You have a VR dizzy. you want to Add Megasquirt spark control. You also have a MSD.

its is this page http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/setup-msns.html they are using to 2 modules 4 pins either of this you can use a 7 pin but im going to use a msd.

Exactly, you are using MSD so you only need one GM 4pin module, the 1k resistor is the same as the 470ohm resister across B-C you can use either value.

The resistor is being used to pullup the level to 12V. The MSD ignition box already has a pullup resistor inside of it connected to the white wire you need not add another one.

ok good no internal modification just the 470 ohms across b and c in the 4 pin and good to go.

something is wrong now the car dont pass 3k rpm.
