wasted spark injection timing angle

Post by sn95.ohh »

Hello all,

I have a single cylinder with a missing tooth crank trigger wheel. I am using autotrigger mode.

I have a quick question about injection timing angle. Since I am using wasted spark with a missing tooth crank wheel should this value be between 0-360 degrees?? or is the microsquirt capable of recognizing 0-720 degrees?

I have had the engine running but it has a hard time starting and I think this value has something to do with it.

Thank you

For your case I would set it 0-360 deg. What is important is that whichever rev you start synch on, you do not inject during the valve overlap period.

Thank you for your fast reply and sorry for my late response. Shortly after I posted I went ahead and tried a number between 0-360 and it worked out great. The engine fires right up. Thank you for your help!
