I am not very familiar with the Microsquirt info yet, but there is a lot of code developed for the rotary engines ann the MS-I ecu. I think a bit of it has been ported over to the MS-II code also. Look through the MS Extra information and you should find answers to this.

Hey Timbo! Cool to see you here! I like to run XP on my tuning laptops. Makes it easy for remote connection, and XP can run nicely on a 300Mhz laptop with only 192mb of ram. I usally run faster machines, but my night tuning machine (backlighted keyboard) has run XP without tweaking it for over a ...

Guys, if you read through the documentation supplied with the LC-1 and LM-1 units, Innovate describes using the panel meters.

A BIG advantage of the panel meter is that you can get them to read a direct AFR. When you set it up right, it will read 14.7 at an afr of the same. You can get nice meters ...

Another vote for the fuel pump not running. I have MSed a bunch of VW's, and repaired a bunch more installs, and seen this EXACT problem 4-5 times. Don't jumper the relay to the battery, but remove the relay compleatly and jumper the power delivery portion for the pump.

If its dieing after three ...

James,

I will try it out. Might take a week or two though cause my daily is a v2.2. I have an unbuilt v3.0 sitting next to me though. Also I managed to get two of the breakout box boards! So setting it up for testing will be cake. Won't even have to open up my harness!

Wow, I am LOW on ECU ...

Even the "crazy dubbers" would have no need to burn up their stims and could use standard wiring. James

"Das is goot!" You got my curiosity up for sure now. We still need to power up the hall, but thats easily enough done.

This next question is from my ignorance of the VR stuff. So far every VR ...

How about us crazy dubbers? We are running another setup for our hall sensors. Powering the hall with 5v out of pin 24, this in essance inverts the signal and it gets brought into XG1.

I can toss out some pictures if there is interest. I have personaly setup over a dozen cars with this method.

Yeah, VW definatly does some weird stuff... I realy don't see any reason you would HAVE to retain that tank. But also its likely you have simple warmup issues too? What you need to do is to get a quantifiable reading on the fuel temputure to make sure thats actualy an issue. I would get a non ...

What I was saying is with that little plastic tank setup, blowing through the lines won't tell you anything. We did the same thing and it lies because of how the tank works.

But obviously your on the right track if its running at tickover.

Because of the way that tank works, I would eliminate it ...

Wire both up to your MS fuel pump output. It workes fine. Did you see our old thread on the Vortex?

Yes, I MSed a MK1 cabby not too long ago actually. We had some weird issues because of the confusion the tank caused. DEFINATLY open a line and power it on for a sec and make SURE you got the lines ...
